A former journalist and broadcaster through the 1970's and 1980's Brian MacLaurin is today best known in the world of Public Relations in the UK, where he is the founder and MD of Brian MacLaurin Associates, which represents a range of high profile companies, brands and individuals in the worlds of entertainment, business and sport.
He launched his first PR company, MCM, in the early 1990s, which was renamed MacLaurin in 1995, becoming the UK's fastest growing PR company- and establishing itself one of the largest and most influential media agencies in the country.
The MacLaurin Group of companies was sold to a venture capital backed management team in 2001.
Brian MacLaurin Associates was formed in June 2003.
The MacLaurin brand has worked with some of the biggest names in the business including Sony Playstation, Hit Entertainment, Disney, Camelot, EMAP, Northern & Shell, Last Minute.com, Chrysalis Group plc as well as many FMCG brands. The company has also advised many high profile individuals and companies in the worlds of business, commerce, entertainment and sport.
